As a Cloud Security / DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a key role in securing NETSOL’s cloud infrastructure and applications, with a strong focus on AWS. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure security is integrated across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support in the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of security solutions and architectures to protect cloud (AWS) infrastructure assets
• Design, configure, and support secure AWS cloud solutions using industry best practices and security principles
• Implement and manage cloud security tools such as Snyk, Sysdig, AWS Security Hub, WAF, AWS Shield, and related technologies
• Contribute actively to the DevSecOps model, ensuring security is embedded throughout the CI/CD pipeline and SDLC
• Implement and support API security, container security, Kubernetes security, and overall cloud workload protection
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cloud security, providing guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Design and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, access controls, and security group configurations
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct cloud security and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
• Create and maintain security documentation including policies, standards, procedures, and architecture diagrams
• Stay current with evolving cloud security threats, tools, and best practices to continuously improve NETSOL’s security posture

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 5–6 years of overall experience in Information Security, with at least 3–4 years of hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in fast-paced environments to implement DevSecOps practices
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO, NIST, CIS, and GDPR
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services including IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF, and Shield
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and recommend effective remediation strategies
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams and business units
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate security risks and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or equivalent
• Experience with containerized and microservices-based architectures
• Exposure to enterprise compliance and audit processes
