Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent degree is preferred.
Skill Set
Test Automation Engineer should have working experience in:
- Proficient in one of the programming language like JavaScript, VB Script, C#, Python.
- Hands on automation experience in one of the automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Hands On with Automation frameworks. CICD experience will be added advantage
- Basic knowledge of databases and other related procedures
- Understanding of testing protocols
- Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
- Familiarity with the software development process
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation Engineer should have following:
- Write/Update automation frameworks
- Writing automation scripts and preparing quality test scenarios and test data.
- Execution of Test Automation suits
- Analyze Test Automation reports and highlight Application issues.
- Collaborating with the Lead to get resolved application faults.
- Tracking software bugs found during automation process and follow ups for its resolution.
- Register himself for the automation related trainings.
