Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent degree is preferred.

Skill Set

Test Automation Engineer should have working experience in:

• Proficient in one of the programming language like JavaScript, VB Script, C#, Python.
• Hands on automation experience in one of the automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Hands On with Automation frameworks. CICD experience will be added advantage
• Basic knowledge of databases and other related procedures
• Understanding of testing protocols
• Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
• Familiarity with the software development process
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Engineer should have following:

• Write/Update automation frameworks
• Writing automation scripts and preparing quality test scenarios and test data.
• Execution of Test Automation suits
• Analyze Test Automation reports and highlight Application issues.
• Collaborating with the Lead to get resolved application faults.
• Tracking software bugs found during automation process and follow ups for its resolution.
• Register himself for the automation related trainings.
